Carey Pott Financial Advisor
Carey Pott is a Financial Advisor for January Financial, a full service financial advising and brokerage firm headquartered in Mission Viejo, California. January Financial was formed to focus on providing sophisticated investment solutions and insight to our private clients. Mr. Pott formed January Financial in April of 2005 in order to fill a niche and provide truly independent financial advising services. As Financial Advisor his expertise in comprehensive financial management allows him to serve and advise clients in all areas of their financial lives, including portfolio management, insurance, real estate and asset allocation and estate planning. He is passionate about interviewing clients to gain a clear understanding of their goals, and then designing a plan to bring those goals to fruition safely and effectively. Prior to his focus on financial advising, Mr. Pott was a top-producing mortgage broker and pursued a goal of allowing clients to plan for their financial futures by using the mortgage as a tool to build and protect wealth. His talents and enjoyment for financial planning led him naturally to obtain the necessary licensing and training to advise clients on their complete financial pictures, mortgages and real estate included. Mr. Pott attended the California State University at Fullerton and graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, concentration in Finance. He holds his Series 7, 63 and 66 licenses as well as California State Real Estate Broker and Life Agent licenses. In his spare time he enjoys golfing, spending time with his wife Kristie and daughter Brinley, reading and cheering on the Angels.
